Coming back to work after a short sick leave last year, my work changed from being the only Agile Coach in the department to being a Scrum Master with dedicated teams and alas, at last, fellow Scrum Master colleagues, Hildur and Logi. Being the curious George I am, I noticed their different approach to sharing things. Hildur is wonderfully extrovert-ish and has been doing awesome work in reaching out to people but also showing up with her teams on Townhalls, sharing what they have been building and how. Logi, on the other hand, is a brilliant, creative introvert and what he does very diligently is sharing in any kind of visual form (text, drawings, pictures, etc.). The material he shares ranges from personal news from the teams to what they are working on and how. I found it intriguing how seamlessly the information seemed to flow, open to everyone to look up and respond to, at any given time. This made me wonder if I could take my own brain material and share with others in similar fashion. I used the opportunity when deciding on my yearly goals earlier this year to use blogging as a goal to support my value of Transparency. Thank you Logi, you are an inspiration 🌟
I want to have my blog as personal and real as I can, in cat language this would be to show the underbelly, which translates to being vulnerable. This is a big challenge for me, the closet perfectionist and I have to admit that just the thought gives me butterflies. Someone famous once said; 'if it´s not scary, you are not doing the right things' and I´m taking that to heart.
I also decided to trample right out of my comfort zone, put on my big girl pants, and create a website to write my blogs online (instead of just inhouse at my place of work) to share my thoughts and connect to people (anyone else missing the casual meetups at seminars, events and conferences that quite by accident rock your world?)
